The ideal holiday recipe – Portugal-Algarve-Lagos

Eva-Maria and Uwe Schwaninger got to know and love the Algarve during a holiday.

Portugal's Algarve – the land behind the coast - die Serra, the Algarve mountains, enchanting little villages and towns not at all similar to any place we could have ever been.

The Algarve is a land of history and stories. Here, nothing of importance is done in a hurry. In 1992 these unforgotten impressions strengthened the decision to build a little holiday oasis at the sunny end of Europe. An innovative concept, a variation between holiday home and hotel - invites all our guests to leave the hectic and confused activities of everyday life behind.

In 2015 Uwe's niece got involved in our project. Now Sabine Bahm enriches our Boavista team with her expert knowledge as travel agent. But Sabine can count on her big family as well. And when we all meet at the sunny end of Europe not only to enjoy our little jewel, but also to take care of it and to improve it, we agree in saying: „It really is a perfect thing!“

Our Boavista at the sunny end of Europe became a familiy business over the years. And perhaps it's not by accident that our guests describe again and again the „spirit of familiy and friends“ when they stay with us in Lagos.
