Our Vila Boavista is directly adjoining the ground of the golf course! On the patios of our house (our estate amounts to more than 14.000 sqm) you can watch the golf players in the distance – a marvellous view!

Golfing holidays in the Vila Boavista mean:

Getting up in the morning, having a nice breakfast, doing some laps in the pool and popping down the golf course. In the evening, after golfing, you need only three minutes to be at the pool again while Antonia is preparing a delicious dinner on the patios of our house ...!

In January 2002 Boavista Golf opened as the youngest member of the golf family on the Algarve coast. This impressing place was designed by Howard Swan, the previous president of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects.

In Boavista Golf the architect’s philosophy to fit golf courses into their natural environment, as if they have always been there, becomes particularly apparent. We had the opportunity to follow the construction process of the golf course and are enthusiastic about how successfully old farms, ruins and ancient tree populations have been integrated into the golf park!
